I was wondering if this is possible to put AC output into one outlet and then take it off from another outlet somewhere else in the house.
(The grid is off, so there is no power from the grid, only from the Victron Energy EasySolar-2 that applies power to the socket)
Why not just wire it permanent with a switch in between. This will give confusion and possible the weirdest problems.
I can’t quite follow your answers.
It is off the grid but best is to follow standard rules. Yes you can, but make sure the receiving socket is a male one. And that you not overload the cable or the cabling of the providing socket.
No, I wasn’t planning on doing a heavy load, luckily.
Normally I would follow the standard rules, but the problem is that it is a rental house, so I am not allowed to remove the entire wiring. I didn’t know if the fuses in the meter box can withstand the current coming from the other side.
I think I will limit the victron to 10 amps so that it does not send too much current through the cable.
A male would be hot when the grid is on.
Wieland manufactures a socket/plug system that is inherently safe
I didn’t know son connector existed. why not just plug a 220 volt socket from the wall if the cable in the wall remains the same.
If you want to land in jail for manslaughter…
don’t exaggerate so much. I just mean what is so special about the connection.
Whatever happens you will not be able to touch a contact on either side.
Just go not to creative. The more i read the more do not even think about it to hack a power plug like this into the system. And feed it as normal from the fusebox side. This is not sounding as permanent off grid but this more like near off grid meaning still someone can think something is powerless and still be powered. Best look for a less creative option.
Just screw the socket from the wall, connect the wires in a junction box with the ac wires from the multiplus, then you can always revert this when needed
Other options are just dangerous!
Why not just use an extension lead and plug your own things that way, so as not to cause any faults or fires or other safety issues.
Use a “builders distribution board” for example.
Sharing the idea, not the actual item to buy
Backfeeding the panel through a receptacle and a suicide cord is definitely an option but as stated is definitely not recommended as the whole idea is literally a safety issue
At bare minimum, at least install an interlock on the main breaker so you’re at least not putting linesmen at risk.
