I have hooked up a Pheonix smart charger to a system with a cerbo. It does not appear to show energy generated in the batteries, either like a shoreline or an MPPT. This results in the hours where it has charged having zero DC consumption, so consumption and generation figures are incorrect in VRM. Is it possible to get this to appear more an MPPT controller? If this is expected functionality out of the box, is it possible to wiring it in such a way (a second shunt?) that this will show up in VRM.
It’s a shame that I’ve paid so much for VRM functionality and it doesn’t work as expected (my other system works fine with a multiplus), despite this not really seeming like a hard limitation (as the mppt controllers can do it). I would have used a multiplus but it simply would not fit in this installation.
Thanks!
