I have been experimenting with the inverter config backup/restore function on gui v2, venus os 3.65. I have saved a backup for a non-ess configuration and a backup for an ess configuration. When restoring to the ess config from a non-ess config I get a notification on the gx screen ‘password incorrect, change grid code to none using veconfigure’. Is this something that can be fixed? The obvious advantage of the backup/restore function would be to allow us to switch between different configurations without the need for veconfigure. I realize the intent behind the password but I obviously needed the password to change the configuration before creating the backup. If that can’t be worked around, can we at least add the ability to enter the password on the gx device so I don’t have to break out the computer?
