Panda Fischer not showing the correct data on GX

hi everyone,

I have a problem for which I cannot find a solution.

I have a Multiplus II which, as is known, has 1 AC input, now I also have a new Panda Ficher 5000I Neo PMS, via a transfer switch I determine whether the power of the boat comes from the shore power or from the generator, that all works fine.

However, despite all information, the Ekrano (more like the Venus OS) continues to insist that the “current” comes from the shore.
That’s remarkable! Yes, the Multiplus II only has 1 AC input, not a second one like a Quatro, but that is not necessary, there is no other option than that the Multiplus either receives power from the shore or from the generator and how do you see that because the Panda Fischer offers the data.

The multiplus does not need to see where the current comes from.
Even with a separate Energy meter ET112 with the role “generator” Venus OS continues to say ; The generator is running and supplies power, but there is also power from shore! That also make a big mess in calculating the power consumed , but oke …………

Which is not possible at all. In my opinion that is really a big mistake, or I am really overlooking something, but so far it seems that way.

What is another strange thing is that I now have 2 generator pages, 1 Panda Fischer and another standard in the system, see the photo, when the Panda Fischer is running, the VRM page says “Stopped”, which is correct until I click on the standard screen, for example. start it manually and it will take it with it.

So it does not seem to be fully integrated.
That is quite remarkable considering that Victron and Panda Fischer work closely together.

So unfortunately I don’t see how I can make the routing in software so that it should work as it should.

So it is software nothing else, you really don’t need a physical second AC input because otherwise the software will no longer understand it.

In fact, if there is software, there is often no physical need anymore, which is why we now all call via VOIP and with the company number while we are sitting on the beach, in the past you really had to connect the cable of your company telephone device with a cable extension, to indicate that software changes things that previously could only be done physically and nothing more than that.

How the mulitiplus II is powered is not at all interesting, it is offered something and the software attaches a label based on data. it shouldn’t be more than that in my opinion.

But who knows, can of course say so!!

I have 3.50 running now, it looks fine, unfortunately I see that the “old” problems have not been solved, such as the data exchange GX - VRM - panda Fischer.

It all works, but the data is incorrect. It is a pity that apparently no attention is paid to these matters.
While there are many boats with a generator with a multiplus, Victron has not managed to build the software in such a way that the output of all inputs is somewhat correct.

So I’m not yet in a jubilant mood because I see that ‘simple’ basic things are simply not possible yet or simply don’t go well.

I can now see my fuel supply, well that’s something  Maybe in 4.0! the Panda - VRM - Multiplus 2 and the Ekrano have a happy relation in sharing there information that I as a human understands en make sense . Now I understand what the do wrong …en then its useless to use.

Hi @jeroen_bosch, thanks for the feedback. What data is wrong on your system?
