Outboard connection to charge a LiFe battery via a MPPT 75 1 10?

My current set up is a solar panel connected to a MPPT 75 1 10 smart solar charger and 30Ah LiFe battery. I would like to add in charging from a 6HP Honda outboard engine which is basically a trickle charger supplying 12v at a max of 6amps. Is it OK to wire it via the MPPT unit? If so which connections should I use please?
Thanks,
Gareth

What exactly do you.mean by wire it via the MPPT.

You can not put it into the solar panel input and then charge the battery.

Thks, in a related post there is a reference to directly charging a LIFe battery from the engine. I have a 6hp outboard with a max 6amp current and DC 12v. Is it ok to connect this directly to the battery? The supply has a fuse in it and the battery has over charging protection.
Cheers

It should be OK, ideally the maximum alternator voltage should be lower than the cut off voltage, ideally around 14.0V max. However, you still run the risk of overcharging if you charge it after it is full even if the cut off voltage is not reached.

Great.
Many thanks
