Dear Victron Community,
I would like to dynamically modify the input current limit of one or several Orion XS, based on parameters like Engine RPM, Alternator Current, Alternator Temperature and so on… Obvious goal is to limit the load on the alternator to controlled safe values.
Based on what I found on the forums and Victron’s support pages, I’m convinced it should be doable through VE Direct (Node-red control max input/out current for Orion Xs - VictronEnergy).
For sake of simplicity and competences, I would like to implement that on Arduino or something like that.
Unfortunately, I could not find any trace of a VE Direct protocol document, as opposed to those available for MPPTs or BMVs.
Would that document be available somewhere?
