Orion XS - 16.2V when connected to VE Smart

Hi
I have a starting battery connected to a Orion XS and a lithium park with a SmartShunt and a MPPT.
As soon as I connect the Orion to VE Smart, the output voltage is set to 16.2V.
How can I prevent that?

The XS is connected to a bluetooth Smart Network?

Pls ensure that the battery being charged is the source of the network temp/current/voltage data.
(As opposed the battery supplying power to the XS.)

yes the battery charged is connected to the smartshunt, and the source of the network.
It’s the same issue as this
