I have two Victron SmartSolar MPPT 100/30 on my catamaran which are working well.
I’ve just installed two Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A DC-DC chargers (one on each motor)

It looks like the Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30A DC-DC doesn’t seem to have VE smart networking like the solar regulators do.

They also don’t display current in /out like the solar regulators do.

My question is: Would the XS 12/12-50A chargers have been a better choice?

If you dont need the isolated version, the XS 12/12-50A has more functions.
