Good morning, I have three battery banks on a sailboat: a lead-acid engine battery, an AGM service battery, and an AGM anchor battery. Currently, the battery charging is managed by a three-way Agrofet and a three-way battery charger.
I need to replace the service battery with a lithium LiFePO4 battery. I’ll install an Orion SX battery connected to the engine battery. The
engine battery is connected directly to the alternator. How do I manage the
AGM anchor battery? Should I continue using the Agrofet or should I remove the Agrofet and install a
another Orion with a lower power rating?
The alternator is 150A.
