The problem:
The Orion shows Float almost immediately after I start charging — Input ~14.3V, Output ~13.6V. But when I took the battery in for testing it came back at essentially 0% state of charge, and it collapses to ~11.3V once the charge source is removed. So the charger reports a full/float battery while the battery is actually empty.
I understand this behavior likely points to a failing battery (it went through a reverse-polarity incident earlier), and I’m handling that separately with a warranty test. But before I install a replacement, I want to make sure my Orion is configured correctly so I don’t cook or under-charge the new one.
My current settings (please correct these):

Questions:
**1.** For a 100Ah AGM of this type, what absorption and float targets do you recommend? (I’ve seen 14.4–14.7V absorption / 13.5–13.8V float suggested.)
**2.** My absorption phase seems to end almost instantly and drop to float. Is that a sign of my input-source voltage being too low to complete absorption, an absorption-time setting issue, or just the bad battery fooling the algorithm?
**3.** Any recommended input lockout settings when the source is an EV DC-DC system that idles around 14.3V?
