I accidentally saw a similar video on Ukrainian YouTube, and I had a thought and a question.
First, I have a system with
- Multi RS 48/6000
- MPPT RS 48/100
First, I noticed that if there is a limitation of MPPT (i.e. a lot of sun) - MPPT RS is always limited first, and if a greater limitation is needed - then Multi RS is limited second.
And secondly, it was really noticed that snow on Multi RS panels melts much faster. All my panels are on one roof: 4 strings. Two of them are on Multi RS 1 tracker (wired in parallel) and the other two strings are on a two-tracker MPPT RS.
Perhaps such a priority of loading strings affects the speed of snow melting, and also the uneven degradation of the panels.
Is it possible to somehow change the priority of loading MPPT controllers?
For example, first to the maximum of MPPT RS, and only then MULTI RS.
I understand that this will create an unnecessary energy flow if the inverter output is under load, but we can power the load from these trackers, and charge the battery from others. (i.e. change the order and priority of the load of controllers and trackers.)
In addition, this can be useful because the thermal load on the VICTRON equipment will also be uniform and this will contribute to a longer service life of the equipment. Because one component of the system can be too hot, and another completely cold.
And so it is possible to change the order, or load equally, then both controllers will be a little warm and the service life will be longer.
Sorry for my English.
