Node-RED virtual PV installation

In an installation, the solar panels on the roof are fitted with Tsun microinverters, which cannot communicate directly with Victron. I created an integration in Node-RED in which the solar panels are linked to a virtual PV inverter. The energy yields are visible on the Cerbo, but are not included in DESS.

Previously, I used a VM-3P75CT to measure the yield from the PV installation, and this is detected and included in DESS.

However, now that there is both a virtual PV installation and this meter, the yields are being added together.

When I disable the VM-3P75CT under Devices, the entire yield is no longer included in DESS.

Cerbo software V3.75 Large.

Could this be a bug?

The system won’t know this is a duplicate, so configuring multiple meters will cause an accounting error. Just enable one for the PV role.

That was also the intention, but the virtual OV meter from Node-RED isn’t detected by DESS and included in the energy planning.

Not yet. This is all new functionality it takes time to come together between the venus OS, nodered and VRM. This is unfortunately part of the joy of customising a system and using new capabilities.
It requires some patience.
