Hi, when trying to access Node RED via the VRM it was asking for a Username and password.
Yet on another of our systems this is not the case.
I changed the network security settings to ‘unprotected’, the same for the other site, and Node RED will load but is still asking for login details.
I’ve tried ‘admin’ as username along with ‘victron’ and our VRM password but it fails.
I can’t see a ‘Remote Console’ option in the new UI, and using the Classic I can’t see ‘set password’ option so I’m stuck on what to try / do next?
I also seem to have lost the UI options on this system, it automatically goes to the new UI. Don’t know if that could be related.
This is a feature of the security level setting, which you can configure. If you have set it to be secured, passwords will be asked for.
All documented in the manuals.
As I say, I have set the security to ‘unsecured’…
Sorry, missed that. And no manual password set on the console?
Which versions are these?
The new UI shouldn’t affect that.
You can try reflash it with the factory reset process from the manual.
Not that I’m aware of.
Latest firmware v3.54 on the Cerbo GX.
I just tried Node-RED factory reset via the remote console and it loads but still asks for logins.
Ok I’ve now solved it. Cycled the Node RED ‘Enabled’, ‘Disabled’, ‘Enabled’.
Also restarted Chrome for an update which may be related.
And I now have the Classic and New UI options for this system.
