I have just enabled Node-RED on my CerboGX, and the update went smoothly.
The “Venus OS Large” icon is available in my VRM Menu.
However, after opening Node-RED, it asks for a username and password, even though I have never created any.

I think this is the password for General → Network security profile.
The login is admin.

The access to Node Red is:
Username: admin
The password is manually generated by the installer once you are in the VRM online portal tab of the settings. Once you designate “full” access the installer will generate a password for the specific cerbo in use and that password is your access to Node Red on the Venus OS Large tab. I hope that helps.

Actually, as explained in the installation procedure, I started by activating Node Red in the remote console menu through VRM.
Then once “Venus OS Large” appeared in the menu, I then clicked on “Node Red” and automatically the username and password were displayed.
And that’s where I’ve been stuck since.
For your information, I am connected to VRM remotely, not on the same LAN network as the Cerbo GX. I wonder if this could be causing this problem.

I did it through Wi-fi in a secure network. I didn’t do it through a hard line ethernet connection. I don’t see the difference. I think the cerbo only needs to see a secure network and full access. Once full access is granted the cerbo will prompt you to generate an admin password specific to the cerbo. Once that’s done you can log into Node Red.
Usernam: admin
Password: what the installer generates as a password at the cerbo.
I was successful using the screen (if you have that option) if not Remote Console should work but it must be enabled. That’s gonna be the tricky part. There are some things that need to be done through the screen to enable VRM Remote Console.
