New feature request with programmed charge and wheather forecast

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to add a variable in the programmed charging considering PV forecasts. The idea is to activate programmed charging during low cost hours (overnight) if PV forecast will not be enough to charge your batteries, so if PV forecast is real bad you may choose a high SOC, if it’s going to be intermediate maybe SoC around 50%, and of course if forecast is good the programmed charged would not occur.

Victron has an API for that in Node-Red.

Why not use DESS?

Thanks for the suggestion. As far as I know DESS is not ready to handle EV charging yet. This is why I have not tried that option.
