Hi there,

I have these components:

  • JA Solar Panel Mono PERC HC 460W JAM72S20-460-MR
    Voc: 50.01V
    Imp: 10.92A

  • 12V 300AH C100 ELEKSOL GEL battery
    Cycle use: 14.4 - 14.7V
    Standby use: 13.5 - 13.8V

I’m thinking about buying:

  • SmartSolar MPPT 100/15 charge controller
  • Phoenix Inverter Compact 12/1200

Do you see any problem with this configuration?

The MPPT calculator recommends me the 100/20 model, but I can’t find it and I think the panel specs are OK with the 100/15 model.

That is a 460w panel. At 12v there is a potential for 38A of battery charge amps.
If you get the 15A model you will only ever see 210w of charge from it. (Battery voltage x amps = watt yield.)

Thank you very much! I didn’t check de MPPT calculator correctly, in fact, it recommends me the 100/50 model.
