Negative input reading

Hi All.
Just after a bit of advice, the below photo shows readings from the VRM of one of our units. These are BESS units running 6x 10kva quattro’s in parallel, with 75kwh batteries, and supplied by a diesel generator.

Just trying to work why/how the input voltage is showing negative voltage.

Any help is much appreciated.

Kind regards

Your chart is showing power, not voltage.
Some more detail will help - what components are there? How is it configured?

Apologies, yes this is showing input power not voltage.

The power is supplied by a 3 phase generator, it goes into the inverters to charger the batteries and also supplies power out to the load, usually temp accommodation, lighting etc.

I’m just not sure how it is seeing a negative AC input .

What inverters are you using?
How have the inverters been configured? Have you loaded any assistants such as ESS?
Is there any PV?

We are using 10kva Quattro’s, 2x per phase. (6 in total) they are wired in 3 phase.

No PV is being used on this install, there are a couple of assistants being used, mainly for the Emergency stop function and to monitor soc.

We have over 100 of these units all identical, but we only have this issue on random sites.

I’m guessing the generator is causing this anomaly, but want to know how/why.

Kind regards

Just wanted to be sure ESS wasn’t configured as an assistant.

No mate its not.
