Hi Everyone.
I am DYI person that built my own off-gridd system that has been functioning reasonably well for about 12 years.
I have flashing red and green LED on my 24/1200 inverter. I believe it is indicating low battery voltage.
I recently went overseas for a month and when I returned home the Victron inverter was flashing red and green and the battery was indeed low after several weeks of poor weather. I have a 24v off-grid system in my shed. I used a generator to recharge the battery to about 26.5v and left it for a day to stabilise the voltage. When reconnected to the battery ( 26.7v) the inverter continued to flash red and green. I connected a power supply to the inverter to see if this made a difference but the same flashing lights appeared.
I reconnected an older Multiplus 24/3000/70 to the system and that is working correctly now, but I would like to fix the problem with the 24/1200.
The inverter is about 24 months old. I live in Perth Western AUstralia and have yet to receive a reply to my emails sent to Victron agents here. Is anyone able to offer me some advice?
Yours sincerely
Jon
