My first 3-Phase on Grid ESS and Backup 30kW

My System is almost finished. I only have to connect the 5x16mm2 cable to the GRID and then start the system up. However I could not wait until then to show it.

So here it comes:
28.8kWp panels (East/West Roof)
30 KW Batteries

2x Fronius Inverter AC coupled (10.0 and 12.5)
3x Phase MultiPlus II 48/8000
6x Pytes V5Alpha Batteries
4x Lynx PowerIn
1x Cerbo GX MKII
1x VM-3P75CT

With the 3 Switches, I can switch:

  • Grid or Generator Source (only in absolute Emergency)
  • Grid Bypass or ESS System (For Maintenance of the ESS)
  • AC2 Loads to AC1 (Full Backup of entire House including Water and Heating system)

And here some pictures…

And this was the initial plan:

So you are not using full potential of your panels in full sun, because you are limited by the charging capacities of the mp2?

Actually nope. As the PV panels are on East/West direction, only half of them are fully generating at a given time. So peak performance is at ~19.5 kW
Th mP can handle 15,8 charging and some consumption is aleays there…
Short Peak…

But regularly it is rather like this…
