I it possible to set the multiplus II in Pass-thru mode?
Would this disable the charger and would this lower the multiplus II consumption?
How is your system configured/user and programmed?
3 phase system critical loads do supply mine home.
Do run ESS in trade mode, looking at a way to limit multiplus consumption (turn the charger circuits off) is there is nothing to trade.
There is no configurable passthru state by the strict definition, it is a state triggered by the system to cope with an issue, state or as a result of setting an operational mode.
If you enable charger only it will be in passthru, but batteries can charge from mains.
If you hit an ESS min SOC, then it will also passthru and block battery discharge.
The idle power is what it is documented to be, it would be less if the system is neither charging or inverting, but you won’t be saving a lot, especially when offset from grid use.
ESS does not have trade modes, only DESS, they are different.
Mine 48/5000/70-50 would have a “Zero-load power” consumption of 18W x3 = 54W
I could lower it to “Zero-load power in Search mode” 4W x3= 12W?
Not sure you can do that with ESS.
