Multiplus II external current sensor

I have this setup for my caravan, minus the generator. The caravan manufacturer for some unknown reason did not connect ac loads that are not to be run off the inverter to ac out 2. I want the multi to do load assist and load control but it needs to understand total load in the input as per the diagram. The manual for my model https://www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/MultiPlus-II_230V/32424-MultiPlus-II___Quattro-II-pdf-en.pdf 12/3000/120-32 states it needs a 50A CT. I can only find a 100A CT on victron website, that one explicitly states it’s for Multiplus II. Anyone know where i can find the 50A one?

Thanks

@hoody There should be no need for a CT in a mobile installation. All the loads should typically be on the AC outputs. AC loads upstream of the MP should not be powered as it contitutes feeding into the grid and is usually highly regulated and for fixed installations such as domestic systems.

Hi

Thanks, maybe i didn’t explain myself properly. There are loads connected effectively to the same circuit as AC input to the MP. When shore supply is connected the MP does not export, this is how all MP in mobile installations are configured. If you have loads connected to AC out 2 this is effectively the same as what I have except the built in CT in the MP can’t measure these loads. AC out 1 is the only output supported by the inverter output.

I am just moving where the CT measures to take into account loads that aren’t connected to AC out 2. These will not be supported by the inverter.
