I have a 30 amp outlet at house, confirmed I have power but the inverter is not switching to charger on, stays on inverting. I can connect to a 120 v/20amp non GCFI outlet and inverter switches to charger mode and works just fine. Why does the inverter not recognize the 30 amp outlet?

How is it programmed?
By default they are set to ignore ac between certain voltages.

Is the 30 amp 240 or 120 volt?

The 30 amp outlet is 120v.

Have you used a meter to verify you have 120 volts at the receptacle? If it works on 20 amp, it should work on 30. If the receptacle test OK I would look at the plug and the cable.
