Multiplus II 2x120 Grid Overvoltage on Internal Grid Metering

Hi, I am stumped on this issue and have tried as many settings as I could and cannot get the inverter to work properly.

Multi II 2x120 with AC Coupled Hoymiles Micro 1500w inverter and DIY 12v LifePo4 Daly BMS 15kw battery.
Connected to the grid and using ESS assistant.
When the Grid metering is set to Inverter/Charger the multi refuses to connect to the grid at all, it tries for a second then disconnects. I checked the error log and it shows Over Voltage U alarm.
The overload light on the inverter briefly turns on and multi switches to Inverting Mode.
I have tried just about every setting and cannot get it to work, when Grid Metering is set to External Metering is on everything works as it should but no export is done from the batteries overnight (Separate grid meter has been ordered but still in shipping)
Grid is good and stable, no load on the inverter when this is done.
Grid in ESS is set to Other with LOM protection.

I have tried adjusting current, LOM disabling, read any and all forum posts, watched many videos and tried configuring this at night when no pv input, tried disabling grid and then reconnecting.
Can’t move the inverter as its already setup in a decently remote area of the house.
This is my first time setting up a victron system of this kind and requirements so maybe I am missing something but I’ve exhausted just about every setting and option with no avail.

When the batteries where new it charged them perfectly for an entire day from the grid and solar but I believe also in a passthrough mode.

Any tips tricks or info would be very much appreciated! Inveter is on latest firmware same with mk3 USB hub and raspberry pi Venus OS.
