I am trying to determine if my multiplus is configured correctly. I have a multiplus ii 12|3000|120-50 with a digital multi control. When I connect to my 50amp service and set it for 50 amps, I get the expected results. However, when I drop it to 15amps (still connected to the 50amp service), it don’t see much drop in draw by the multiplus to bulk charge my batteries. I was expecting to see a substantial drop when I dial down the multiplus to 15amps. Is my understand incorrect, or do I have something not configured correctly?
Thanks in advance.

Here are some additional details:

Cerbo GX with display and digital multi-control
I ran a few tests and have attached the screen shots. What is confusing to me is when I set the input dial to 15 Amps, the multiplus is still pulling almost 100 amps. It doesn’t get down below 15 Amps until I set the multi-control to 3Amps.
We need more info. First we need to know what parameter exactly you dialed down to 15A. There are several options. Second we need to know what software automations you have running (DVCC, ESS, Node-Red, etc…). 3th, we need to know what hardware you have in your setup that could overwrite the charge settings like BMS, GX device and so on.
Correct me if I’m wrong, could raising the AC load draw also trigger the inverter to reduce its DC charging current?
Like for example, an AC load draw of 15A, would essentially trigger the inverter to reduce its DC charging current to zero in this example, is that correct?
Ok right, got it! The AC input current limit only applies to work the inverter is performing, and AC loads are just passed through to the generator or shore power.
I think I see where I was confused. I was comparing the input amps to the charging amps, but forgetting to change from 120/240v (input voltage) to 12v (charging voltage). The screen shots I added to the original post show that at 3amp input, my charging amps drops appropriately.
Is there a way to confirm that the input amps is actually what I have set the digital multi-control at?
