MultiPlus Compact is not allowing AC power into RV

I have a MultiPlus Compact. It is stopping AC power from entering my RV. There is power at the Power Post outside, and I am using 30 amps. When I turn it on, it begins the start-up routine. I see on bluetooth monitor that the draw goes rapidly from 1 amp to 50ish amps. Then the inverter shuts down. Nothing is on AC in rig. My refrigerator is set to propane. I suspect that the power draw is going entirely to batteries to top them off. So, is my suspicion correct and how do I change a setting so my draw is limited to perhaps 35amps.

What’s a good number?

A margin below the trip setting on the power supply to start with. You may need to go lower if there is voltage drop in the supply cable which is causing the MP to shut down. Start low and see what the input voltage is and increase as required.
