New multiplus 3 k inverter installation. MPPT solar, Touch 50 and cerbo GX. Very pleased with the install done by SESindiana.com. I notice that when on shore power, and system switches to bulk charging only (inverter off) the system warms up and internal fan turns on. It becomes much warmer than when it is simply running inverter on and charging from solar input. Any thoughts? Is this normal, and if so, why?

What mp 3k did you use? How warm is it in the room. When its charge with full power it needs cooling.
Thanks for the response. It’s the basic Multiplus 12V / 3000 va inverter. New out of the box a few days ago.
Room is about 75-80 deg F.

When the charing Power of the mp ist very high its normal how man amps did you charge ?
I have not seen that situation yet. The battery has always been near fully charged since I took delivery.
