Multiplus 2 gx only charges at 61 amps instead of 70 amps

My Multiplus 2 gx was replaced some time ago because the old unit had a broken ventilator that sounded like a vacuum cleaner, that problem was solved after replacing the unit but now I can’t get the full charge amps.

My previous unit did charge at 70 amps flat without problem. A unit I manage on another location also charges at 70 amps without any problem.

My current unit stays around 61 amps while charging also at lower temperature.

Settings are the same as my old unit and the other unit I manage, charging and discharging current are limited at 119 amps.

Does this unit also have a problem?

Your MP2 is fine, you have low AC voltage.

UPD: Also, I don’t recommend you to fast charge the battery in the summer, your temperature is 33 degrees, a charging current of 30-40Ah is sufficient.

This is at the other site that I manage, it reaches 70 amps continuously. The ac voltage is a bit higher. How can I test if it’s caused by the lower ac voltage?

I will have a look at temperature also. But as it is an 314Ah lifepo4 battery it’s still below 0.25c.

Believe me it’s so!

You where right!

@JeroenSt
Now you’ve solved it, just of curiosity, do you have a limit set on the AC IN current?
