Multiplus 12/1200/50 ac in & out connector doenst fit

Good day,

I’m installing a multiplus 12/1200/50 and the ac in / out connector doesnt fit in the unit.
The units slots are missing the holes for the plastic locks, see pictures.

How are you meant to connect this connector?

How odd.

Now that I look at my multi 12-1600 the plug/cable assembly (purchased separately) does not have any lock. Fits firmly and has not wiggled loose in 6 1/2 years.

And yet your housing seems to have slots for the plastic latches :s

Same issue here. Should we remove the plastic that’s in the way?

I just installed a couple of these and they plugged in without issue. Let me check the other one I have in the shop and see if it looks like yours.

This is what mine look like. This is right out of the unopened box and consistent with the other units I have installed. It appears the tabs that yours have were removed from mine. They don’t seem necessary since you have the screw that holds the plug in.
