Multi RS 6000: Current status ESS, DESS, multiphase regulation

Dear Community,

Looking back to the camparison of a Multi RS 6000 with a MultiPlus II 5000 single-phase ESS almost a year ago, I was wondering what has improved since then and what limitations still remain. ESS and DESS appear to be working well on the Multi RS now.

However, I’m still unsure about multiphase regulation in a single‑phase configuration.
Is the Multi RS able to compensate loads on L2 and L3—similar to the MultiPlus‑II—when it is connected to L1 in a grid‑parallel setup?

Thanks for any recent updates from current deployments.

Alfredo

According to this post the multiphase regulation should work for a three-phase grid with a single Multi RS:

However, I’m using a system with three Multi RS, and with this there’s still no multiphase regulation. So any imbalances are being compensated across the DC-bus… which is suboptimal…

I’m still waiting for an update

The current update v1.27 includes changes in the behaviour of some edge cases. But I don’t think it changes the multiphase regulation behaviour.
