With this ESS setup in the image. Does the Muiltiplus invert power onto the AC-in to supply Loads when the energy meter indicates importing from the grid, or does only supply power to the essential loads?
Yes it does feed loads on ac in to compensate grid feed
Thanks Marc. How does the Muiltiplus and grid-tie inverter detect grid failure when they are both feeding in on that AC-in line and then either shut down or open the AC-in relay?
The multi will see that he cant push power anymore and disconnects ac in, normal inverters just shut down in a similar way as long as grid codes are configured the right way in both
