I have a MPPT 150:100 Tr which has a dead short between the battery terminals. Is it dead? Or is that some sort of protection circuit that can be reset.
(Obviously I cannot power it with 12V on the battery terminals for the protection relay reset, because there is a dead short between the battery terminals)

Low side FET is defective.
