Trying to figure out why this 100V/20A 48V MPPT controller is exceeding the set fixed absorption time. It exceeded it by 50 minutes today. Does it not count some of the total time when accounting for the fixed setting for a specific reason? Or is it a bug?
The absorption timer is paused if PV output reduces / or a load drops the battery voltage below the bulk / absorp setting by more than 0.2v, (12v battery).
This allows for correct absorption time.
If the battery voltage only drops by a bit (say 0.1v) the timer continues.
