Given you’re troubleshooting I would avoid using VE.Smart Networking all together for now. It just adds another element into the system.
Once we are certain that everything is working perfectly at a hardware and basic system level, then consider re-activating the VE.Smart Network features.
Unfortunately this issue has returned and I am now 100% confident that it is a firmware issue with the VE Networking.
Since getting the new 100/50 the system has worked flawlessly. As I stated above, the new 100/50 was showing it was receiving “Battery Current” under the VE Networking. The 100/20 did not show this anymore in it’s VE Networking dialog.
About a week ago I decided to upgrade the 100/20 to a 100/30 MPPT. I removed the 100/20 from the system. I added the 100/30 to the VE Network.
Unfortunately the very next day, the 100/50 did not start charging with exactly the same symptoms already mentioned previously. Once I removed and readded the 100/50 to the VE Networking, it started charging. I also note the “Battery Current” is now not showing in the 100/50 VE Networking dialog but it does in the 100/30. After a couple of days it failed again to restart charging in the morning.
The battery settings across the two MPPT’s are set exactly the same.
