I would like to alert on a rising water level in the bilge of a boat.
How can I measure the water level or rising water level?
My concern is if the pumps stop working, or can’t keep up, is there a sensor that would detect water gathering in the bilge?
Thank you,
-Kevin
1000 different sensors can be found by google, for professional use i take the liquiphant, needs 24v, costs ~300€.
I have two bilge pump float switches connected to the Cerbo GX digital inputs in different bilge compartments. They do not have pumps connected, just act as alarms. Set them a bit higher than the water level the pumps start at.

Thank you!
That sounds simple enough! I will give it a try.
