Easiest/cheapest option for single water tank sensor on Cerbo GX

Hey folks, I have a small travel trailer that has no existing fresh water tank sensors and would like to hook one up to the Cerbo GX. I’m fine with typical 1/3, 2/3, full (or 1/4 increments, better) and bought some cheap probes to attach, thinking these could go into the analog level inputs. From what I can tell, this won’t actually work. One benefit of this option is that the tank is not flat - there’s a smaller deep end - so I’d be able to manually calibrate by placing the probes at the right level, where another solution that assumes a linear level will be inaccurate.

I do see SeeLeveL has a capacitative module and display that connects, but $250USD for a redundant display seems overkill for my use. Is my only other option to find a float based sensor and drop the tank to install it?

using your “cheap” probes which I assume are dry contact, install at your desired levels.
add resisters to the probes so the resistance is subtracted when each probe closes so that tank full is 300 ohms, tank empty is 0 ohms or opposite if the probes are closed when floating.
you can customize the sensor range in in devices once you enable the sensor. (max range is 0 to 300 ohms, you can use any values in that range)
you will install the resisters in parallel to the dry contact float probes and wire all the probes in series
