Missing option to Remote Console on vrm portal and firmware update with multiplus in parallel

Hi all

My system is:

  • 2 Victron Multiplus 48-5000-70 working in parallel

  • 1 SmartSolar charge controller MPPT 250 100 - Tr VE.Can

  • 15 SunPower panels 325 Wp

  • 1 Color Control GX

  • 4 Pylontech batteries US2000 2.4 kWh 48V

I have two questions:

  1. On the VRM portal, since a couple of weeks ago, I can’t see the option to access the remote console. I have check the configuration on my Color Control and the remote console is enabled and the status is Online (I have reboot the color control just in case, but is the same, I can’t see the remote console option in the Vrm portal).
  2. Under notifications, I have an alert: mk3 firmware needs update. Under the device list, on the MultiPlus, I have a pending update for MK3. My question is if is safe to do this update. My worry is about the parallel configuration of my 2 Multiplus. If I update, the configuration will be kept afther the update?

It is safe to update the mk3 driver on the gx.
The system may possibly restart on update.
The system wont be affected otherwise.

Do you recommend me to do the update? I remember to read somewhere that if the system is working well, don’t do any updates. Are you sure that the configuration of the 2 Multiplus that are working in parallel will not be lost?

Sorry for my insistence, but I have not the tools and the knowledge to reconfigure the Multiplus again is something goes wrong (the current configuration was done by an authorized company 3 years ago)

A last question… Any clue why I can’t see the Remote Console entry on the VRM Portal? Could be related with my old version of the drvier?
