I have an array with 3.2kw total of enphase microinverters feeding 230v into AC1 out of my mp2
I was using ESS until i got scared by finding out i should have informed DNO and got G99 approval, so i decided to take the mp2 off grid by disabling ESS and removing the g99 grid code on the inverter.
Now its running off grid, but my microinverters have stopped generating, but if i confiure the systen by saying “no pv” the microinverters start generating again to charge the batteries.
I think they must be going into frequency shift and shutting down if the settings are that pv inverter is present.
How do i adjust the system to not frequency shift and keep the microinverters generating, until the batteries are full?
Have you installed the PV Inverter assistant in your MP2? You didn’t have to do that when you were using the ESS assistant, but without the ESS assistant you should be using the PV Inverter assistant. In the assistant you can configure the frequency shifting set points.
I dont recall ever seeing a pv inverter assistant. Can you possibly walk me through the procedure?
So no i didnt install a pv inverter assistant.
Just add the assistant and follow the prompts. If you don’t know how to answer the questions then please work with your local Victron installer or distributor to assist you.
Ok thanks, ill give it a go. Btw, i dont have a local victron installer so i rely on this forum, so thank you.
