Max feedin power

This is perhaps a ‘stupid’ question. But I couldn’t find the answer here on the forum or in the ESS manual/Multiplus manual.

For a given Multiplus, what’s the maximum feedin power to the grid? Say a Multiplus 3000 has 2400w of rated output power, but I’ve read in other places that resistive loads can go up to the rated 3000W.

Is feedin to the grid a resistive or inductive load?

Lets say an installation has excess solar installed and can unlimited feedin to the grid, can we set it to a negative grid setpoint up to the maximum rating of the multiplus 3000W? Or will the multiplus handle the max and you can set it as high as possible (-5000W) and the Multiplus will manage the maximums safely without risking overload?

Yes, exactly. You can enter any values, but Multiplus will handle them within its technical capabilities and in the context of the other settings (e.g. they may be mutually exclusive, different options may have different priorities, etc.).
