For multiple years the smartshunt has shown DC consumption on the Overview graph along with solar production. But despite being 3.5x more expensive, the Lynx shunt does not. Victron claimed through multiple threads, and their own staff, that the Lynx Shunt wasn’t able to do dc consumption despite basically being the same thing as a smartshunt (only connect differently to the GX).
This is all a lie. I created a very simple Node Red flow, like 8 nodes, tiny, that samples the DC consumption every 2 minutes, resets at midnight, and emails me the daily dc consumption at 11:59 at night. Once again, deception by Victron to promote more product purchases (ie adding energy meters and additional smartshunts, while disabling lynx features to promote the later , are prime example of why this company will never be an industry leader.
