I recently got my system fully completed and been keeping an eye on things to ensure its operating as designed and within spec/limits. The Lynx Shunt 1000, I have a the power in Class Ts on the left side w/ 4x 16kWh batteries each with 225a fuses and right side i have the distributors with a RS450/200 and MP2 15000. So my max discharge current is around 200a and charging current can be as high as 400a in perfect scenarios. I have a 800a CNN fuse in the shunt currently and a temperature probe on the terminal and when I get north of 300a the temperature gets to around 106 F and seen it as high as 110F. Is there any value to having a fuse here with all the other fuses I have on the system? The shunt came with a bus bar to place inside vs a fuse and assuming that will remove the bottleneck of the fuse creating the heat.
