Lynx Distributor Connections

Currently I have my house batteries running to a Smart Shunt, connected to a Lynx Distributor. Attached to the Lynx Distributor are the two cables running to the Quattro as per installation instructions on connection 1 & 2 of the distributor. One connection 3 of the distributor in the house DC connection to the DC panel. On connection 4 is one alternator. I am changing the alternators to the ARCO 275A alternator with the ARCO Zeus external regulator. This gives me 2 alternators to connect to the distributor for a total of 5 connections with only 4 connections available. I have no room to connect another distributor. Any suggestion on the best course of action? I was thinking for putting the alternators on the distributor connections and the house DC connection to the positive tab for expansion with an end line or mega fuse holder, but this does not give me fuse monitoring and seems a little sketchy.

from what I have seen, using one end of the Distributor bus bar along with independent fuse holder/fuse as a distribution connection is a fairly typical usage - you don’t get the fuse monitoring of course - though I’m not clear if that gets reported in the system in any manner other than just via the LED on the Lynx Distributor - and since the fuse will be external to the Distributor, you’d have good visibility of it.

I’m current planning a build now myself where I’ll have 5 connections that need to come off the Lynx Distributor - and it does not make sense to purchase a 2nd and allocate all that space just for one additional connection - so this is the route I’m planning unless I end up having another connection need.
