Lithium batteries storage

Hi everyone, I have a question about lithium batteries storage and in case I’ll buy the Victron NG batteries. I have my sailing boat in the Caribbean and every year I put it ashore for about six months during hurricane season. In this time the boat is always closed and I believe the internal temperature can rise to about 40 degrees Celsius (or maybe more?) So, in this situation, what’s the best way to storage the batteries? Should I leave them connected to the solar panels (I have a 300W solar panel) or disconnect them completely?

Thanks.

You have a few options ….

If you don’t need power, you could disconnect the solar and leave your batteries at 40-60 pct state of charge.

OR let them float at 13.5V if you want to leave them connected.

I would say the best is to disconnect the batteries completely.
The min./max. storage temperature can be found in the datasheet.
