here’s a quick success story along with a list of the components used. I purchased two Solarsense 750 units (one for the south-facing roof and one for the north-facing roof). My existing setup includes a Cerbo GX MK1. A TP-Link UB500 Nano Bluetooth USB dongle was already installed for other sensors (Ruuvi, etc.). For this expansion, I connected an active 15m USB 2.0 cable with a TP-Link UB500 Plus attached to the end. Once set up, all components and devices worked immediately. Integration into VRM and Node-RED (using a custom input node) also worked right away.
It would be great if the Solarsense units supported Wi-Fi as well, though that might consume too much power.

No guarantees but don’t take the marginal range of the sccs to be representative of all Victron bt devices. Smart battery sense (long range) easily shows up from the front or backyard in VC when direct line of sight to scc fails.
I haven’t done any specific range tests with my solarsense 750 though.
my experience is intended simply to help with the selection of components. My system is located in the basement, which isn’t suitable for direct Bluetooth coverage. Consequently, I ran a 15-meter active USB cable from the basement up to the attic. Since the SolarSense 750 units have robust housings, their range is limited. I haven’t tested it, but I imagine that even longer active cables (e.g., 25m) would work. In this case, it was also important that the Cerbo GX supports multiple Bluetooth dongles, as one was already installed.
could you also list the devices here that work with the Victron infrastructure? I’ve been looking for a transparent Bluetooth/IP tunnel but haven’t found anything of that sort.
