I plan to install a victron multiplus II GX and I need to add a new ev charger. I can see victron as one and I hope install this one (after WAF…) but I see it’s only ip44… Normally for outdoor it’s ip65. So it’s suitable for outdoor or only for indoor ?

Both my systems run outside, provide energy to tiny houses. Of course in a closed environment so water does not access the systems. Works fine, one runs for over 4 years now (spain), the other around 4 months (NL). No problems so far. BTW: IP44 has specific meaning. I guess that if you put a firehose spraying 10 bar of water on it, the system will go down….
IP44 is splash proof, like rain etc and protected for small objects (screwdriver, insects)
So if you dont point a power hose on it you will be fine
