Has anyone tested the MultiPlus-II 48/4k5/55-32 in practice and can share whether it runs quieter than the MPII-5000—especially regarding transformer hum, cabinet vibrations, and fan noise?
Has anyone perhaps opened the unit and taken photos? Is the internal design identical to the MPII-5000, or are there any noteworthy improvements aimed at reducing noise in everyday operation?
The reason I’m asking: based on my own experience, the MP-5000 can be quite loud in a residential setting. I’m still hoping Victron will release a quieter model. I’ve also seen fully passive hybrid inverters up to 10 kW with large rear heat sinks, which makes me wonder if similar concepts might appear here.
