I‘m using a Orion tr smart 12/24 as 24VDC power supply. Input is connected to the battery system. Do I need a BatteryProtect at the input side to switch of the Orion or is it enough to connect the BMS directly to the Remot Input of the Orion to switch off the load?
It should be enough to do this.
It also has an input voltage lockout to prevent over discharge in power supply mode
