IP43 on 240v split phase power?

Hello all,

About to install a new IP43 (3) on our boat to replace a failed other brand. The AC supply to the current one is 240 so two hots and a ground, no neutral. Comes off the 240 side of the breaker panel with a double pole breaker. Can I feed the IP43 with 240v split phase with no neutral? The specs say it takes the voltage but all the schematics show what appear to be Europe style 230 on one leg with neutral and ground.

Thanks in advance,

Patrick

Doesnt matter, it’ll work. Similar situation is when feeding it 230V 50Hz from a portable generator where the neutral isnt necessarely grounded

Wanted to make sure since even the available cords for it appear to be hot, neutral, ground. So I am feeding #1 hot to hot, #2 hot to what would have been neutral, and ground to ground?

I guess you are looking for a IEC 60320 C13 on one end and a NEMA 6-15 on the other, like this

But you can also buy just the IEC 60320 C13 plug
