Hi Victron Community,
I have a setup with:
- Inverter: MultiPlus 24/3000/70-50 120V
- Battery: 24V Battery
- Cerbo GX: Connected and DVCC is enabled
- System Setup: My battery is selected as the Battery Monitor
Current situation:
- The battery is in Charge Mode = Float (confirmed on the Cerbo GX).
- The battery voltage is 28.37V.
- The CVL (Charge Voltage Limit) is configured at 28.40V.
- However, the inverter is still charging in Absorption mode instead of switching to Float.
I would expect the inverter to transition to Float mode given the battery’s status and the voltage being close to CVL.
Question:
- Is there any specific condition, delay, or hysteresis that causes the inverter to remain in Absorption despite the battery signaling Float and voltage being near CVL?
Any guidance or experience sharing would be appreciated!
