Inverter inverting on increased loads

I’m having a problem with my Victron Multiplus II 12v 120x2 inverter. I’m in a 5th wheel camper. We are connected to 50 Amp shore power. When we turn on a large wattege appliance like 1000 wats the inverter starts inverting for a couple of seconds even though the 50 Amp shore power doesn’t need the boost. We recently started using a toaster oven that cycles about 1300 watts every few seconds. Even with that being the only load the Victron will draw sometimes over 200 amps from the lithium batteries for couple of seconds which discontinues the float charge then switches to an absorbtion charge back to float charge every few seconds in cycle with the toaster oven. This causes our DC lighting to constantly flicker in step with the charge voltage changes. I installed the system more that year ago and this may have been happening from the start. The quick cycling of our new toaster oven may have caused a once in a while condition to come to our notice because the constant light flicker. I have observed on my Victron app all of the obove occurances reflected in the reported numbers. I thought that it might be being caused by a loose connection on the AC feed. However, we often are using over 3000 watts on a leg because of space heaters without any problems that should show up because of a loose connection. I’ve even tried changing the UPS parameter on the Victron thinking that it would be causing the problem. I’m wondering if I might just have bad inverter.

Welcome.

What have you set for the AC input current limit?
Do you have Dynamic current limiter enabled?

The AC input is set at 50 amps and the dynamic current limiter is set to off
