"Internal AC input monitoring" alarm on Multi RS Solar

My Multi RS Solar is now showing an “Internal AC input monitoring” alarm which is stopping it from connecting the AC grid input connection.

This happened after a relatively large load was applied at the output, though nothing unusual. The only other thing that is noteworthy is that the RCD on the input side had tripped (which might have happened before or during the incident).

The error message requests that I try restarting the Multi which I have done but no change. The suggestion on the alarm is that if that fails then the unit is probably faulty.

The RS works fine except for it won’t connect to the grid at all which I do occasionally need if the load is fairly high although this only happens once in a blue moon.

Has anyone seen this before? I can’t find any other references to this anywhere?

@guystewart is there anyone in technical that can shed any light on the above message?

If not then I’ll get in touch with the company I purchased the unit from and ask them for some help.

Hi John,

Some faults we may not have seen before therefor the community can’t offer much help, sometimes going back to your supplier is the only option.

If you can report back with the outcome this might help someone else if this issue should come up again.
